The UN75 dialogues are part of a broad global discussion about the future of the international community initiated by Secretary-General António Guterres on the occasion of the UN’s 75th anniversary.
The UN75 dialogue organized by YPFP brings together young professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and mid- to high-level diplomats and experts to discuss concrete ideas and steps on how the next generation of foreign policy leaders can work together to address global challenges. The YPFP's UN75 Dialogue will center on the voices of young professionals in their discussion and interaction with the following experts:
Session 1. Mitigating the climate crisis.
Session 2. Closing the gender gap.
Session 3. Ending violence and conflict.
Session 4. The emergence of digital technologies.
Session 5. Demographic shifts and migration.
Session 6. Inequality - Bridging the Divide.
How to register? We are looking for YPFP members from different fields who want to join one of the six thematic breakout sessions of their choice, actively participate in the roundtable discussions and express interest in reflecting on how young professionals can effectively cooperate to tackle the specific global challenges posed by the keynote speaker during each session.
The final perspectives of these breakout sessions will be shared in the plenary session by a designated speaker. The results of the YPFP's UN75 Dialogues will be submitted to the UN as per protocol.
Be part of the conversation and join us on Tuesday, 20 October (18:00-20:00 CEST | 12:00-14:00 EDT) for an insightful event to exchange views with diplomats, academics, industry leaders and fellow YPFP members from all over the world on how to tackle the world's most pressing challenges.
